Construction is obvious on all 48kmDate: February 19, 2016
Despite the exceptionally poor winter weather, Waterford Council have continued to show their commitment to the "jewel-in-the-crown" 48km long Waterford Greenway. The progress throughout the county in obvious with underpasses, overpasses, elevated sections, tarmac, bridges, tunnel lighting and bridge restorations well underway.
Clonea to Durrow is expected to open within weeks, allowing for a stunning, offroad and uninterrupted 11km walk or cycle from Dungarvan to Durrow. Other sections will follow in the next few months with the full 48km expected to be open in the summer.
